The project was to develop a hotel management system that could be used to manage all the aspects of the hotel. The system was to be developed for Hotel Lagoon, and as a small hotel, the automation had to be unique and appealing in design. The system had to be able to adapt to different situations and alter the behaviour of the systems accordingly. To ensure that the system would be able to adapt, it had to incorporate artificial intelligence (AI).
