Choosing the best laptop for the Adobe Creative Cloud is very important.
So whether you’re using Illustrator Photoshop Premiere Pro InDesign as a video editor graphic designer or photographer.
It’s all about making the right choice for the specific programs that you’ll be using.
In this article I listed out best laptops for you, I categorized in 3 main categories so everybody can buy laptop according to their budget.
- Budget Category
- Mid range Category
- Premier Category
1. Budget Category
In budget category I selected these laptops according to performance and price.
1. Acer Swift 5
2. Lenovo flex 5
3. Dell Inspiron 15 5000
4. Asus vivobook S 15
2. Mid Range Category
Now these laptops are good for Adobe InDesign Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Premiere Pro. These laptops are going to give you the opportunity to do some 1080p video editing and some light 4k video editing.
1. Lenovo Legion Y 540
2. MSI Modern15
3. Acer Concept d3
4. HP Spectre x360
5. MSI Prestige 15
3. Premier Category
Now to our high end laptops this will be the
1. Dell XPS 15
2. MacBook Pro 16
3. Gigabyte Aero
5. Razer Blade 15 studio edition.
I really just love with those laptops into a big mishmash and categorize them because those are my laptop recommendations but more than anything it’s important to understand why I’ve recommended those laptop ?
So I’ve been in the graphic design industry for about 10 years and since I’ve been in the industry, I’ve actually moved even more towards now doing video editing in Premiere Pro.
So using all of those programs simultaneously takes a lot of power from your laptop.
So those budget laptops in the budget category those are great buys but you have to make sure that you’re going to be running one to two design programs at one time and if you’re also going to want to run Spotify or iTunes music or something along those lines and maybe you’d be browsing the web you’re going to start pulling a lot of power from the laptop and from that processor and from your ram memory.
So let’s jump into that real quick if you have a budget laptop in the budget Category.
You’re going to want to run one maybe two design programs at the same time and maybe be a listening to music after you get more than that you’re going to start to really pull a lot of power it’s going to slow down your laptop.
So those budget laptops are great they’re a great Buy they’re a good entry level but you don’t want to overpower them because you’re going to lose performance and you’ll just become frustrated.
So that’s my recommendation Adobe Photoshop Adobe InDesign Adobe Illustrator maybe listening to some music and browsing the web possibly if you’re browsing the web listening to music and using a design program. I recommend using one program at a time.
Let’s move into the mid-range category, now the mid-range category is where we start to see some color accurate laptops that are super important.
I actually don’t have any super color accurate laptops in the budget category.
So you’re going to start to see some color accuracy of a hundred percent Adobe RGB and DCI p3 as well as s RGB, so that’s the MSI prestige 15, The Acer concept D.
Those two are going to be great for color accuracy and the MSI modern 15 that one has an sRGB of a hundred percent. So those are my top color accurate laptops.
Now these laptops are where you’re going o be able to start getting into some video editing, so like I said 1080p maybe a little bit of 4k and you’re going to be able to run multiple programs at the same time while it’s in music and browsing the web.
So if you’re interested in color accuracy, you’re interested in getting a little bit more battery life, you’re interested in using Photoshop InDesign and illustrator simultaneously then the mid-range category is really where you want to buy that’s going to be your price range and that’s going to be the best performance for you.
You find yourself doing some video editing on this side as well those laptops are going to be great for that.
Let’s look at the high end laptops, this is where we’re going to have great battery life going to have 100% color accuracy in all of these models.
Yes that’s correct and all these models are got 100% color accuracy in Adobe RGB srgb and DCI p3 you’re going to have a great battery life.
These laptops are all going to be looking at around 6 to 8 hours of battery life while using design programs that’s hard to say for the other mid-range and budget categories.
You’re going to see that type of battery life but it’s going to be more like productivity tasks like using word Docs or browsing the web but if you’re using design programs and specifically if you’re video editing, you’re going to pull that power down a lot more.
So these laptops are going to be great for 4k video editing especially.
Now let’s look all laptops specification and performance individually.
1. Acer swift 5

The new swift 5 is fine. The screen is fine, the performance is fine, the battery life is fine, and the price ($ 899.99 to begin, $ 999.99 as proven) is not scandalous for the included specifications.
There is not a ton to complain about here, but SWIFT 5 is not the top of its kind in these categories. Where it stands out is portability, and compared to the previous fast models, it asks you significantly few sacrifices in return.
I am used to 12 and 13-inch laptops who feel the light, but I am still in the process of convincing myself that a 14-inch device can be really freeless.
Every time you choose this laptop, I am surprised that it is not heavier. I carry it with one hand, and I can not say I sustain it. When he is in my backpack, I forgot that he is there.
I have often found myself lifting up and down on my desk to make sure, somehow, somehow has earned the extra weight, my brain thinks I should have.

4. Asus vivobook S 15

The Vivobook S15 is designed for daily productivity and entertainment, which makes it a good option for the work office from home and school things such as text processing, spreadsheets, web applications and Simple graphics work.
Intel’s integrated graphic chip can handle some basic casual games, but you will be disappointed if you want more than that.
Both the S532 and the S533 that I tried had the same configuration, so we only make our reference tests in the S532 and you can see at the end of this revision, how it is stacked to laptops on and above their class.
In summary, it was performed as expected and, again, it offers more than enough power for things like transmitting music while their school work is performed or the creation of Nocomplex slideshows.
The S532 model was only let down by the battery life.
A VivoBook S15 S533 streaming video test lasted 8 hours and 20 minutes; while a 532 streaming test lasted only 5 hours and 15 minutes.
Despite the fact that the Screen Pad seems to eat into your battery life, you can adjust its brightness and turn on a battery-saving mode for the pad that should help.
Although the S15 charges quickly with its small pin-style adapter, it does not support charging over its USB-C port, which would simplify charging on the go.
Pros
- Great value for feature set
- Snappy performance for the price
- Stylish, slim design with multiple color options
- Long battery life
- Strong port selection and useful extras (fingerprint reader, microSD slot)
Cons
- One component configuration only

8. HP Spectre x360

Last year I used several laptops, some of them are quite impressive in terms of performance. i truly felt that HP spectre x360 is best among all consumer laptops which I used.
In terms of performance, the HP Spectre x360 (2021) is an improvement on an already stellar computer. A stunning device had been made possible by the combination of power and portability in last year’s HP Spectre x360.
Additionally, the new model includes Intel Evo certification for an even better computing experience. The new HP Spectre meets specific requirements that ensure an improvement in performance and design thanks to that coveted certification. Not only does it start up quickly, but it can also handle casual gaming.
With a battery life of almost 13 hours on the intensive PCMark 10 battery life test, it shows Windows 10 laptops can last as long as Chromebooks and MacBooks on a single charge.

The Gigabyte Aero 15 is a laptop designed for designers and creative professionals. But when I first saw the thing, I didn’t believe it.
This laptop looks nothing like the laptops that come to mind when I think about “creators” (the slim MacBook Pros, XPS 15s, Surface Books, and Zenbooks of the world). There’s no denying the Aero’s power.
It measures 15.6 inches wide and weighs 4.4 pounds. There’s a bright LED logo on the lid, large visible vents on the back and bottom, and a colorful RGB keyboard that will turn heads from across the room.
